Mom, I have a college diploma, what now?

The day was hot as we sat in cap and gown, waiting for our turn to get announced. My friend Sam was as excited as me to graduate college. What an accomplishment. Yes it took me a little longer than what people think to get my bachelor’s degree, six years, but I finished nonetheless.

Sam’s name was called and he got up, walked to the podium and accepted his diploma, he looked so happy.  I remember us first meeting as freshman in the octopus dormitory. He was across the hall from me, we became quick friends, and shared many classes together. He decided to get his degree in history, with a major in pottery and basket weaving. I thought maybe liberal arts would do me well, so I have spent the last six years learning about, liberal arts stuff.

My name was just called! I ran up to the podium, I looked out over the crowd, and saw my mom with a big smile on her face.  They said we could not say anything, but heck why not.

I shouted “Mom, I have a college diploma, what now?”

As summer 2012 comes to an end soon millions upon millions of 18 year olds will be heading off to college to join tens of millions of other 19 to 30 year olds that have spent a few years to over a decade working on improving their education. Today with a national average of 60% of students actually graduating high school it amazes me that we still push college education as the only path toward “success” in America.

Today the college diploma is basically nothing more than a $100,000 collar of slavery into indentured servitude for most.  Yes you read that right, and I know that for most you are thinking “how dare I say that about college”, it is the best way for me to ensure success for my children.  Every part of society including getting a good job, opening doors, and building the “American Dream” starts with a bachelor’s degree from a good school.  Oh my how wrong you are.

Here is the best place to start your education into the truth if you wish to grasp the scam that is college, and how today it is nothing more than an indoctrination program into how global government is good, and that anyone whom believes in constitutional government is a “terrorist”. This video was put together by the National Inflation Association and released about six months ago, it is excellent.

Listen, if you believe that by spending at a minimum $50,000 is good when a graduating college student walks into an unemployment rate of 50% for those between 20-30 years old is good, then spend away.  But just think about this for a second.

If you take $50,000 in borrowed money at say 6% interest, and decided to try and pay $300.00 per month to pay it off once you “got a job”, how long would it take you to pay it off?

About 30 years!

Yes, a life long slave to whomever loaned you the money.  Guess what, as the video discussed in 2011 our government passed legislation allowing ONLY ITSELF, to be the “lender” for student loans.  Yes banks are the “front man” for the loans, and earn fees but the federal government provides the money, declares the terms of the loans, and is the ultimate “claim of the debt”.

What do you think the government might start doing when people default on their student loans? Perhaps labor camps, forced “national service”, time in the military, or perhaps “workers for the state”.

America things are going from worse to horrible, maybe it is time to realize college is no longer the “American Dream”, it is the path to “Government indoctrination and enslavement”.

God Bless.
